Dreamer's World March 07 2017 - Daily Prompt "Ruminate"

The Daily Prompt is “Ruminate”. A seldom- used word that actually applies to me on an everyday basis. I often find myself “ruminating” on life and the world around me, because “ruminate” is a fancy word for deep thinking on a subject.

To take the time to “ruminate” on something can be a joy or a trial depending on the subject. I suppose that the word itself lends some clues. I see the connection to the word rue which means to dread something, so one must always be careful not to get too deep into a subject that only involves regrets and mistakes already made, whether they are real or simply perceived.
