Dreamer's World February 3 2017 - Daily Prompt "Overwhelming"

The Daily Prompt is “Overwhelming”. That sentence sounds like a declaration of futility doesn’t it?

Actually “overwhelming” is a very accurate term for how I am feeling on this Friday. It seems as if this nation, or a large part of it, is perfectly happy to drive over the cliff and destroy civilization in the process. This is one of those time when I realize that I cannot fight each battle every single day. I am truly feeling “overwhelmed” right now and I need to step back and relax before refocusing myself to jump back into the fray.
